Players Build Life Skills and Lifelong Friendships

Softball has become quite a force in our communities! The Freeland Lady Firehawks is composed of several travel softball teams based in Freeland, Michigan. Sponsorships by White Orthodontics and other businesses help cover the cost incurred for players while participating in travel softball. Players participate in practices, scrimmages, and tournaments from September through July, and learn to manage time, cope with failure, and build confidence while developing resilience through intense practices and competition. It’s a privilege to be part of building essential life skills in young people, knowing they’ll also develop lifelong friendships and enjoy belonging to a supportive community!
